This year’s exhibition (2024), Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, was centered around breathing newfound appreciation into things and we expected to see the same on the red carpet with fashions that have stood the test of time. But no garment has stood the test of time quite like….

The dish glove.

Mrs. Meyer’s products already provide an everyday upgrade, but we took it to the next level with an unexpected designer partnership that taps into fashion and culture while honoring the brand’s roots.

Inspired by the Met Gala’s “Garden of Time” theme, we gave the iconic rubber dish glove a couture upgrade through a designer partnership with Rodarte — who, like Mrs. Meyer’s, is known for its floral roots.

And let me tell you, this was NOT your garden variety dish glove.
